A series of events this summer to connect, have fun and reflect on midlife (and the jewelry exchange and party are free to attend!).

So much is changing at midlife, and it’s refreshing to focus on ourselves with the questions, the hardships, the excitement about what’s next, the insight into who we are, who we were, and who we want to be. But we don’t take the space to explore these themes, and we don’t take the space to talk to other people about it.

So I’m hosting events specifically for this purpose, and summer in La Conner is the perfect backdrop. Come be with other women and hang out as our midlife selves.
Plus we’ll eat and have new jewelry. Even better!

Yes, June is busy as we transition into summer. Maybe you have a graduation party this weekend or plans to clean up your garden.

But maybe what you really need is some space.

Space for yourself to rest, to reflect, to be in community and solidarity with other women. A weekend in La Conner.

When was the last time you had space, to think about yourself, feel nurtured, rested, and clear about something important to you, your heart and your soul?

If you need that this weekend message me.

My insight for today (that I had to blurt out to the young waitress hoping it may change her life sooner than it changed mine).

Regret is simply a temporary reaction to an impermanent situation.

Its based on a misunderstand of how life works. Life, mistakes, actions and their impact are not static. We see things through the lens of our state of mind in the moment.

If it looks like a mistake, we feel bad as if it actually were a mistake. How could we possibly know it’s a mistake? The future context will ultimately determine that. Sort of.

We have to stop thinking we know. Our thinking is lying to us.

We’re doing ok. We’re getting through and learning. It’s enough.

Need some help in your relationship while you're locked up together?

I did a relationship a while ago but technology conspired against me and I haven't posted it. But maybe you just needed to watch it now! Click this link to watch it. Description below.

Is your partner’s irritating habit so much more irritating? Is your impatience leaking out more than you’d like? Are you wishing you could work together more effectively now that you have time?

Maybe you had relationship strain before this and now it’s exaggerated or maybe this crisis is bringing out new problems, but a strong relationship can make everything that we are doing easier (and a struggling one can make it exponentially worse). But there’s a lot one person can do to stabilize a relationship and put it on a different path and it’s not as hard as you might think to do that. And right now, when everything is in flux, it’s actually easier to do. You can make impactful adjustments instantly and I'll show you how.

I have been a coach for 20 years helping my clients find their own bearings and bring a better version of themselves into the relationship. In this webinar I will talk about some simple and fundamental things you can do to keep yourself strong and to draw the strength from your partner.

How’s your head?

My life’s work has centered around helping people with their heads: clearing their heads, relieving the pressure, sorting out a problem that got stuck as it was passing through, and figuring out how to handle your head when in a relationship with another head!

My sister, my dad and I created an very good online course designed to help people get their heads together and it’s on sale for 50% off through the end of the month.

Maybe this pandemic has thrown you into a tailspin of worry, fear or doubt and you’d like to be free of that or maybe you are unexpectedly calm and reflective but you want to make sure that sticks around as we head back into “real life”.

Both of those are realistic. What is taught in this course is truly life changing and totally worth the investment. Links below or dm me.
