Today William turns two (2) years old and gets to celebrate with his two favorite kids, and the birthday fruit salad they made for him!!
The last 18 months have been challenging with an unexpected move and lots of juggling. Thankfully Kimberly Dunn and Carla Thornton were able to provide support during those early, challenging days. (Thank you both!) Fortunately the last year has been about recalibrating and connection… and not a lot asked of the ponies. Everyone seem happy and William seems to be thriving.
We are on a new property (our first owned property) and we just completed our barn over the winter. We have had a track system up for the last year and now we’ve added a small new dry lot. It is starting to feel like home.
William is a sweet boy. My son loves him, as does the entire family. William’s big sister Braeberry Lydia seems to take care of him and nurture him as though she knows he is her little brother. His mom, Stonecreek Black Crystal, is happy to let them bond while she enjoys her quiet afternoons. They are quite the sweet little herd.
Thanks to everyone who has helped us go through the process of breeding, birthing, and raising this funny young pony — especially Kimberly Dunn, Buffy Oas, and Sammantha Magaña Agee. (Thank you all!) We appreciate the community you have all provided and look forward to many years of fun and joy because of everyone’s support! We love this silly guy.
