ComedySportz is the epitome of an all girls education - where we work to cultivate bravery and build our students’ ability to take bold chances. What could sum that up better than competitive improvisational comedy theater - ComedySportz? We celebrated the bravery and boldness of our seniors last week in their final matches - a brilliant testament to their commitment and excellence these past four years!

GALA 2026 🌺🌴 What an incredible night! As President Marlena Conroy described, “it was a true expression of who we are, a community that chooses joy, that shows up for one another, and that brings heart into a every space we create.”

Thank you to each of our over 250 guests who brought their generous spirits and continue to “invest in her future.” Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy remains a truly special place because of its community of families, alumnae, faculty, staff, and Dominican Sisters!

A heartfelt thank you to the Gala Committee and support staff who transformed Senior Lawn to Havana on the Hill. What a night!

“Be who God created you to be and you will set the world on fire.” St. Catherine of Siena

Today we celebrated the feast day of St. Catherine of Siena, the patroness of our Dominican school. St. Catherine is know for her boldness, advocacy, and leadership. As our presider, Fr. Jorge, reflected, we are all called to be more like St. Catherine, who was striving in her life to be more like Jesus. We prayed over our newly elected ASB, class board and Residential Hall leaders who received a Flintridge rose - yellow with orange tips to symbolize the fire in the invitation of St. Catherine’s bold call to servant leadership.

Our student organization, FIA, encouraged us all to wear denim today as a show of solidarity against victim-blaming myths and support survivors of sexual violence - a true show of advocacy.

All students enjoyed the tradition of sharing birthday cake to honor St. Catherine’s feast day! St. Catherine of Siena, Pray for us!
