Jeff Marks – Owner & Operator, Jeff Drives
Jeff Marks is the owner and operator of Jeff Drives, a professional airport and long-distance transportation service based in Southwest Florida. Originally from Allentown, Pennsylvania, Jeff began visiting Southwest Florida more than 15 years ago and eventually made the region his home.
Before launching his transportation business, Jeff spent many years as a Union Heavy Equipment Operator, where he earned multiple safety recognitions for his commitment to professionalism and responsibility on the job. After retiring from the construction industry, Jeff began driving airport transportation for a local company. During that time, he discovered he genuinely enjoyed meeting travelers from all over the country and helping them reach their destinations comfortably and safely.
However, Jeff quickly realized that the vehicles being used by the company were often unreliable and not up to the standard he believed customers deserved. After hearing repeated concerns from passengers about inconsistent service and poorly maintained vehicles, Jeff decided to build a better alternative.
He founded Jeff Drives with a simple mission: to provide prompt, professional, and enjoyable transportation with a personal touch.
Today, Jeff Drives provides transportation to and from major Florida airports including Tampa International Airport, Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport, Punta Gorda Airport, and Southwest Florida International Airport, as well as long-distance service to Miami International Airport, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, and Florida cruise ports.
What began with just a handful of loyal customers has grown into a trusted network of professional drivers dedicated to delivering reliable, comfortable transportation. Jeff Drives is fully licensed, insured, and permitted for airport ground transportation. The company offers spacious, well-maintained vehicles for both solo travelers and groups, flat-rate pricing that avoids the unpredictable surge pricing common with rideshare services, and real-time flight monitoring to ensure drivers are always waiting—whether a flight arrives early or late.
Unlike rideshare services where trips can be cancelled at the last minute, Jeff Drives prides itself on dependable service at any hour, including early morning and late-night travel.
Jeff now lives on the water in Punta Gorda, Florida with his wife and their beloved pets—Chico, Pepe, and Paco. When he isn’t driving clients, Jeff enjoys exploring Southwest Florida by road and by water and continuing to meet the fascinating people who make travel such a rewarding experience.
