It’s March, which means it’s time to celebrate social workers!

Social work isn't just a job title—it’s a commitment to being the bridge. Whether it’s advocating for systemic change or just showing up to provide a safe space for someone to finally breathe, this work matters.

The NASW 2026 theme, "Social Workers Uplift. Defend. Transform.", really hits home this year. It’s a call to lean into the "grit" of our work. To my fellow educators, advocates, and practitioners - thank you for the heart you pour into your work everyday! You aren't just helping people get by; you’re building a better world from the ground up.
