A-mazing Cubs Snowcone Celebration!

We will be celebrating our A-mazing Cubs with snowcones this Friday 8/28 to celebrate our school's A rating and welcome everyone back to school! We would love for you to join in on all the fun if you are available! The more the merrier, we could use your help setting up, serving, keeping the line moving, and cleaning up afterward. Please feel free to sign up for as many time slots you are available.

PS: Snowcones will be Dye Free to accommodate all allergies.

This week, the nomination period for the 2027 H-E-B Excellence in Education awards officially opened! Through the Excellence in Education honors, H-E-B awards cash prizes to educators who go the extra mile to serve their students and their communities. To commemorate 25 years of excellence in education, H-E-B will award more than $1 million in cash prizes to Texas educators and their schools through the program in 2027. Nominations are open until September 30, 2026 at HEBLovesTeachers.com/nominate.

The 2027 H-E-B Excellence in Education Awards categories include:

🎉 Two Years. Two A’s. One Proud Cub Community! 🎉
We are thrilled to celebrate our Cullen Cubs for earning an “A” rating for the second year in a row in the Texas Education Accountability Rating System! 🅰️

CES also earned distinctions in Academic Growth and Closing the Gaps—an incredible reflection of the hard work of our students, staff, and families.

We are so proud of our Cubs and grateful for the dedication of everyone who makes CES such a special place to learn and grow.
Way to go, Cubs! Vamos Ositos! 🐻

Now let’s celebrate this amazing accomplishment together!

Welcome back Cubs! We hope our students enjoyed seeing all of the colorful chalk art and encouraging messages as they walked back into Cullen Elementary this morning! We hope it made their first day back feel extra special.
