Hey y'all, the Simon Band will be holding a Spirit Night at Jersey Mike's in Kyle this Friday from 4pm-9pm. Come support our band program and grab a sandwich!

We expect to have a mini-band performing in front of the shop from 5:30-6pm! Hope to see you there!

Our Simon Middle School band students competed at All-Region Band auditions today, and earned the following results:
Rodney Brown: 1st chair bass clarinet
Aidan Gonzales 3rd chair euphonium
Brandon Dominguez 7th chair trombone
Maya Duran 14th chair horn

Congrats to all our students, and to those who just barely missed earning a spot! We're super proud of you!

The Stars were bright at the UIL Region 18 Marching Band Contest. Your Lobos scored a clean sweep of superior ratings from the three judges and earned their spot in the UIL Area D Marching Contest this Saturday! Congratulations Lobos!

Last Saturday, the Simon Band participated in the Kyle Founder's Day parade. It was a fun time parading past Red Simon's old house! Thanks to everyone who supported us, and the parents who helped us.

Starting with: our Varsity Band, the Simon Wind Ensemble, just earned straight 1s on their UIL performance! This is the first time in the history of the school that the band has earned this rating. 😄
