In his first year on campus has already become an integral part of our school community. Whether he’s jumping in to help with parent pickup, keeping his door open for anyone who needs him, or simply lending an ear to a question or concern, he consistently goes above and beyond with a smile. He may be new to our campus, but he certainly didn’t waste any time becoming one of us! This week’s Staff of the Week goes to Officer Gomez!!! Congratulations and thank you for everything you do!

🍧 Jeremiah’s Italian Ice will be at Ranger Round-Up today! 🍧

Stop by and grab a sweet treat while supporting WMS! Jeremiah’s Italian Ice will be on campus from 2:00–5:00 p.m. during our Ranger Round-Up, which runs from 1:00–7:00 p.m.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit our Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program.

We hope to see our Ranger families there! 💙

🎉 What an exciting day at Wallace! 🎉
Today, we had the privilege of welcoming our incoming 6th graders to our Rising Ranger Camp! 💙🤍

Our future Rangers had the opportunity to tour the campus, meet new friends, get to know their teachers, and learn all about The Wallace Way. We loved seeing their excitement, energy, and smiles as they took their first steps into this exciting new chapter!

We are so excited to welcome this amazing group of students and can’t wait to see all they accomplish this school year! Here’s to a fantastic year ahead! 🥳📚

Rising Ranger Camp is almost here! We can't wait to welcome our incoming 6th graders to WMS this Saturday, August 8!

📅 Date: Saturday, August 8, 2026
🕘 Time: 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
📝 Check-In: Begins at 8:30 a.m. in the WMS Cafeteria

During Rising Ranger Camp, students will:
✅ Explore the campus
✅ Meet their teachers
✅ Learn about life at WMS
✅ Receive their paper schedule (if fully registered)

👨‍👩‍👧 Parent Meeting: 9:00–9:45 a.m. in the Big Gym to learn more about WMS.

Just a reminder—we’re looking forward to seeing our 7th & 8th grade Rangers and their families on Monday, August 10 from 1:00–7:00 PM for Ranger Round-Up at Wallace Middle School!

Come by to pick up schedules (for fully registered students), tour the campus, purchase athletic gear, and learn more about PTA and campus resources. Don’t forget our Parent Information Meeting at 5:30 PM!

Wallace Middle School is excited to welcome our 7th & 8th grade Rangers and their families to Ranger Round-Up on Monday, August 10, from 1:00–7:00 PM!

This is a great opportunity to:
📋 Pick up your student's schedule (for fully registered students)
Students entering 6th grade received their schedules during Rising Ranger Camp.
🏫 Tour the campus
🎽 Purchase athletic clothing
🤝 Learn about PTA and campus resources
🎤 Attend our Parent Information Meeting at 5:30 PM (the meeting will be recorded for families who are unable to attend).

📢 Please Note: Ranger Round-Up is designed to help 7th and 8th grade students and families get ready for the new school year. Our teachers will be on campus preparing their classrooms, so while you may see them throughout the building, this is not a Meet the Teacher event.

📍When you arrive, please follow campus signs to the main entrance, where our staff will be ready to welcome you and help guide you throughout the building.

⚠️ Important Reminders
✔ Students must be fully registered to receive a paper schedule.

🚌 Families needing bus transportation must complete student registration by Monday, August 3, sat 12:00 PM (noon) to receive bus service on the first day of school. Students who register after the August 3 noon deadline and require bus transportation will begin bus service on August 17.

✨️ From now until 4pm on Monday, August 10th you can comment on THIS post ONE time per day with your vote to nominate a school for FREE Pan Dulce for their entire staff the 1st week of school! We will choose the following schools from Hays ISD:
