Greg Essington (BM Music Technology) - His musical journey began at age 3 when he started banging on a piano while singing I've been working on a railroad. At age 6, he began studying piano under Katie Hunt and at age 14 he took up the guitar. New York City became a home while he earned a bachelor’s degree in music technology at New York University. While in New York, he took lessons in jazz piano, classical voice, acoustic guitar, and composition. He also was a part of several ensembles, including the NYU Gospel Choir and the New York University Singers. For 2 years he lead the music for a Sunday service at Christ Church NYC. In 2010 he came back to Texas to work as an outdoor educator and has since been performing and writing music with Zack Kibodeaux and the Blue Water Highway Band. He has experience performing many different types of music, including: folk, jazz, classical, choral, gospel, broadway, and church music. Along with guitar and piano, he also enjoys playing and learning the mandolin, accordion, ukulele, and violin.

Zaida Zamora has been involved in music both as a performer and educator for many years. Her experiences as a performer have allowed her the opportunity to work with several notable conductors from West Coast to East Coast to the New York Philharmonic to conductors in Italy and Germany. Ms.Zamora commenced her college education at Del Mar College in Corpus Christi. She completed her Bachelor of Music Education All-Level Degree at California State University, Fullerton and then earned her Masters of Music in Conducting at Westminster Choir College/Rider University (Princeton New Jersey) Through the conservatory she attended Westphalischelandeskirkenmusikschulle in Germany. She has since taught at a number of school districts: McAllen, Laredo, New Braunfels, Wimberley, and San Marcos.While in Laredo, Ms. Zamora founded and directed the Laredo Community Chorale (subsequently known as the South Texas Chorale) which served as the choral adjunct to the Laredo Philharmonic Orchestra. She was also named assistant conductor of the Laredo Philarmonic Orchestra. Throughout her years of studies and after, Ms. Zamora has served as soloist and conductor/director in a variety of positions: teaching K-college, singing, playing, and directing in churches and in the community. She enjoys encouraging and inspiring the love of music in her students, both as individuals and as members of groups or ensembles.

Cesar Gomez (BM Music Performance) - was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. He began playing guitar at the age of 17 and soon decided to pursue the instrument at the college level. He moved to San Marcos to study with Marc Cruz at Texas State University and later privately with Dr. Steve Kostelnik. While at Texas State, Cesar was an active member of the Texas State Guitar Ensemble and University Singers. He is also an elected member of the National Music Honor Society, Pi Kappa Lambda, and the National College Honor Scholarship Society, Alpha Chi. In 2011, he graduated MagnaCum Laude with a Bachelors degree in Music performance from Texas State University. Cesar concertizes and performs at numerous private functions and weddings throughout the Austin area. He dedicates most of his time to classical music but also enjoys exploring other styles. Cesar takes pleasure in teaching and currently has numerous students of all ages.

Anita Williams (BA Music Education, Baylor University, piano and choral emphasis) - Anita began teaching piano lessons at age 13 to neighborhood children in Port Arthur, TX. She has continued to share her love of music, teaching 6 years in public schools, serving three churches as minister of music, accompanying high school choirs, churches, Oklahoma Baptist University choirs, numerous UIL soloists, and continuing as a private piano teacher for over 40 years. Anita has led several seminars for church accompanists and while living in Hong Kong, chaired the ecumenical committee that brought Mark Hayes there to lead a huge choral workshop/concert and piano improvisation workshop. Anita has also served as president and vice-president, respectively, of Shawnee, Oklahoma MTA and Richardson MTA. Anita lives in San Marcos and has three adult children. Other interests include gardening, scrapbooking, cooking, and travel.
