Kutztown FFA Attends State Convention at PSU photos
Last week, seven Kutztown FFA members attended the 97th Pennsylvania FFA State Convention held at Penn State University, where members participated in Career and Leadership Development Events (CDEs/LDEs), leadership workshops, and statewide recognition activities alongside thousands of FFA members from across Pennsylvania.

Congratulations to Clara Engel and Zane Cherrie! π
The Kutztown Area School District is proud to recognize Clara Engel and Zane Cherrie as the 2026 recipients of the Dr. Richard P. Flannery Memorial Scholarship, also known as the Berks County Hall of Fame Scholar Athlete Award.
The awards were presented at the annual scholarship dinner on June 17 at the Victor Emmanuel Club in Reading, where Olympian and Hamburg graduate Karlie Heistand Kisha served as the keynote speaker.
This prestigious honor recognizes outstanding student-athletes who have demonstrated excellence in academics, athletics, leadership, community service, and a commitment to continuing their education.

On Saturday evening, family, friends, colleagues, former players, and members of the tennis community gathered at the Berks County Tennis Association Night of Champions Ceremony to celebrate Dale and Louann Reppert as they were officially inducted into the Berks County Tennis Hall of Fame.
This prestigious recognition honors their lifetime of dedication, leadership, and contributions to the sport of tennis in Berks County and beyond. Through decades of coaching, mentoring, promoting, and supporting the game, Dale and Louann have positively impacted countless student-athletes and helped strengthen the tennis community especially at KASD.
KASD is proud to celebrate this remarkable achievement and grateful for the lasting legacy they have created both on and off the court.

On Wednesday, June 10th three Kutztown Area School District paraprofessionals were recognized at the Berks County Intermediate Unit as they graduated from the Paraprofessional Academy.
Throughout the 2025/2026 school year, Jennifer Bossler, Linda Bryant, and Keara Patrick participated in a series of targeted professional development sessions leading to their successful completion of the program. We are extremely grateful for the significant role each of the recognized paraprofessionals play in our district.

ππ GES Celebrates Student Success! ππ
On the last day of school, Greenwich Elementary School recognized students for their third-trimester achievements in academics, leadership, and citizenship. Congratulations to all of our award winners for their hard work and dedication throughout the year!
We also gave a special sendoff to our fifth-grade students as they begin their next chapter in middle school. We are so proud of all they have accomplished and wish them the very best in the years ahead.

Our girls in grades 3 through 9 had a great first day of basketball camp! Throughout the morning, the athletes worked on fundamental skills at a variety of stations led by our talented high school players and coaches.
These young athletes are working hard, having fun, and building the foundation for future success on and off the court.

Today, staff members from across the Kutztown Area School District gathered at the KAHS Stadium Field House for our district-wide cookout.
This event provided a wonderful opportunity for all of us from every building and department to come together, enjoy a delicious lunch, and celebrate the conclusion of another school year. Events like this remind us of the strong sense of community that makes KASD such a special place
