Today is World Mental Health Day, and a chance to pause and check in on yourself and your fellow Golden Bears. Prioritizing your mental health looks different for every person, but all steps towards maintaining your mental health set you up for success in not just academics, but in every aspect of your life! This World Mental Health Day, make a plan to prioritize your mental health and be kind to your mind.

We are so grateful that the UDS Foundation could come to campus today to provide students, faculty, and staff with information about their services, as well as a service dog demonstration with UDS Ambassador dog Clover and handler Jennifer! UDS provides a variety of support services for veterans, older individuals, and individuals with disabilities and we are so happy they could share their work with the KU community!

Last week, DSO held the Delta Alpha Pi honor society induction and graduation ceremony! Delta Alpha Pi was founded at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania to recognize high achieving college and university students with disabilities. To be invited for membership, you must be registered with DSO and have a 3.10 GPA if you are an undergraduate student or a 3.30 GPA if you are a graduate student. Pictured are the DAP 2024 graduates!
