Spark Nature Forest School is SOLD OUT!

And our apologies.....we didn’t even get a chance to open registration to the public.

Between our current Spark families and those already on our waitlist, every single spot for the upcoming Forest School season has filled.

It means so much to us to see how many parents believe in what we’re building here and how hungry this community is for meaningful, nature-based education.

Our Forest School is intentionally small, hands-on, and rooted in the belief that children need time to explore, take healthy risks, get muddy, use real tools, create, build friendships and simply be children in nature.

And clearly we’re not the only ones who believe that.

Want in if a spot opens up?

We’re creating a new priority waitlist for families who would like to be contacted if a space becomes available during the year or if additional Forest School opportunities open in the future.

We feel the LOVE!

Rain and all, you showed up. And WOW, what a turnout for our Outdoor Studio Ribbon Cutting + Family Wellness Day!

A huge thank you to the Pocono Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber members, elected officials, and local news for celebrating this new chapter with us. ✂️🎉

And to our incredible local food and drink crew: E’z Taqueria | Stroudsburg Pa, Simply Sage, Hive to Harvest and Yaya's Bakery. THANK YOU for keeping us well nourished and making the day even sweeter. 🌮🍵🧁

To Kurt Peloquin and Katie of FLOAT we appreciate you bringing your incredible music and talent and to Brandi L33 for sharing the gift of sound healing. You both elevated the entire experience and for that, we are grateful!

Most of all, thank you to every longtime Spark supporters, new and old families and friends, neighbors and community members who came out, braved the rain, played, created, connected, and celebrated with us.

We built this Outdoor Studio because we believe in the power of creative spaces, nature, and community and yesterday was the perfect reminder of why. We felt so incredibly supported and welcomed. What a beautiful beginning for this next chapter of Spark PA.

Thank you for showing up for us. We can’t wait to see what we create here together. ❤️💙💚💛

We are creating our fall semester and need your help!

What should we offer on Thursdays?!!!!!!

Historically we have offered an art and yoga class at 11am for 4+. Then we switched it to art and nature classes once spring came.

But neither really "took off."

So we want to know.......what would you like on a Thursday morning?

Just an art class?
A nature program?
A different time?
A longer class?

A parent child class?
An unstructured homeschool hang?

We are open and want to meet the needs of the community so please weigh in :)

So excited for Sunday!!!

So excited for Sunday!!!

Exciting news for SPARK PA Arts Inc. — join them as they officially open their brand-new Outdoor Studio with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony hosted by the Pocono Chamber of Commerce! 🎉

This beautiful new space will expand their forest school, summer camps, children's art and yoga classes, adult workshops, community gatherings, and so much more. It's all about bringing creativity, nature, and community together.

CFMC was proud to support this project through two grants: an ESSA Legacy grant toward the new space, and a Pocono Mountain Free Arts and Craft Workshop grant that will help fund family meditation and sound healing programming.

Following the ceremony, the celebration continues with a FREE Family Wellness Day for the whole community on August 16th! Come for one activity or stay all afternoon — everyone is welcome. With you, for good. 💛

We don’t teach art because every child will grow up to be an artist. We teach art because it nurtures self-discovery.

It teaches patience. It builds self-trust. It gives children a language for self-expression. It encourages experimentation. It develops perseverance and work ethic. It helps children work through challenges instead of around them. And along the way, they just might discover something they love. ❤️

Every week during camp, we create one collaborative work of art that never leaves the property.

It starts with a daily barefoot walk. It grows one offering at a time. By Friday, it’s a reflection of every child who spent the week with us. A shared creation made with the land, not just on it. One small way to honor the place that gives so much to us all week long. 💚

If you were an animal… what would you be?

That’s the question we asked our campers before they ever touched the clay.

Each child chose an animal that reflected something about who they are, then transformed a simple ball of air-dry clay into a one-of-a-kind sculpture. Every ear, tail, scale, and splash of color told its own story.

But there was one twist.

Every sculpture was made with a hole through the center so that, at the end of the project, they could all be stacked together on one shared stick.

We love projects like this because they celebrate both individuality and community. Every child created something uniquely their own, but the final sculpture only became complete when everyone’s work came together.

It’s a beautiful reminder that a community isn’t built by everyone being the same. It’s built by each person bringing something different. And when every contribution has a place, something truly special begins to take shape.

One of our favorite parts of camp is welcoming incredible guest and student teachers into our community. Each person shared a unique gift, creating experiences that inspired our campers and made this camp even more special.

Lisa Belle Lisa Belle introduced us to the calming practice of sound healing, creating space for relaxation.

Nesha Nesha Parker guided campers on a foraging adventure before sharing the magic of herbs through a beautiful tea ceremony.

Mr. Casey Casey Gallagher inspired the children with engaging art lessons that encouraged creativity, experimentation, and confidence.

Our student teacher, Noah, helped kids sculpt imaginative clay creatures full of personality and play.

Miss Ily Ily Scelia blended movement and storytelling through a joyful chakra dance experience that got everyone engaged.

Brandi Brandi L33 led a heart-centered cacao and sound experience, inviting us to slow down and connect.

Miss Allison allison ❀ introduced the art of junk journaling, showing campers how everyday materials can become meaningful keepsakes.

Miss Kaya Kaya Bianca Jagermeister Mehlomakulu brought Kandinsky’s abstract art to life while sharing her unique experience of synesthesia.

Miss Kassandra Kassandra Flamouri captivated kids with Greek mythology, storytelling, and songs that sparked imagination and wonder.

Miss Jess .err strengthened our camp community through team-building activities centered on trust, leadership, and belonging.

Our student teacher, Arya, designed and taught our Community Mosaic lesson, reminding us that every small contribution helps create something extraordinary.

It takes a team effort… and we have the best team. To every guest teacher and student teacher: thank you. Thank you for sharing your gifts, your time, and your hearts with us. Your passion enriched our program, inspired our campers, and reminded us that the best learning happens when a community comes together to share what they love. ❤️
