Hairstylist math just makes sense.

10 vol + 30 vol = 20 vol
Yellow + purple = BLONDE
6N + 4N = 5N
Done on time = done early
Gap in the day = finally getting my own hair done
Nails done = free tool

It might not work in a maths exam… but every hairdresser knows the calculations are correct.
