🏈 KONAWA FOOTBALL SCHEDULE UPDATE

This Friday’s Konawa vs. Purcell High School football game has been CANCELLED.

We were notified on Saturday that Purcell would not be able to go through with the game.

Please help us spread the word so everyone in our community is aware of the schedule change.

There will be a softball parent meeting after the HS game tomorrow evening. It is for HS and JH parents as well as anyone interested in Konawa softball. We will talk about upcoming fundraisers and the state of our program. Thank you!

Congrats to our Lady Tiger softball team for going undefeated in the Asher tournament. Beating Varnum in the first round 4-0, Stratford 4-2 for the semi finals, and got the championship win over Moss 3-1 twice this afternoon. Congratulations, ladies! 🥎🏆

This week Ms. Russell's Oklahoma History students got to have some hands on fun while learning about the importance of the fur trade to early European explorers and Native Americans in Oklahoma. Special thanks to the Oklahoma History Center for letting us borrow the Fur Traders Traveling Trunk that included fur samples, trade items, and more for our students to see!

We love seeing our students learn in such a fun and engaging way! Good job, Ms. Russell!

🏈 Football Game Reminder 🏈

We love seeing our students at the football games cheering on our Tigers!

Parents, please help us by making sure elementary students remain seated with their parent/guardian during the game. Students should not be running around, playing under the bleachers, playing in the end zone, or gathering in other areas of the field. Students are not permitted to bring any type of ball into the game.

We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable Friday night while supporting our Tigers! 🏈

We’re gearing up for another great year of High School FCA! 🧡🖤✝️

FCA meets every Wednesday during lunch and is open to all high school students - not just athletes! It’s a time for students to get together, spend time in the Word of God, encourage one another, and grow in their faith.

If you’re able to donate something for the meal, we have put together a SignUpGenius with different items needed. Every little bit helps, and we truly appreciate everyone who is willing to support this organization.
