Kudos to our 6th grade scholars who earned a place on the Honor Roll! They completed their first year of middle school and have accomplished so much. They have persevered through challenges and seized every opportunity for growth! We are proud of each and every student and look forward to seeing all the great things this class will achieve in the years ahead. Keep up the great work! ❤️💙

Congratulations to our 7th grade Honor Roll Scholars! We commend them on their dedication and academic achievements! As they prepare to move into the 8th grade, we are excited to see them step into leadership roles and continue setting a positive example! As we celebrate the incredible achievements of last night’s KHS graduates, we also want to take a moment to recognize our 8th grade Honor Roll Scholars at Maple Crest STEM! We are excited to celebrate our hardworking students who excelled in the classroom and put in the work to achieve academic excellence. We look forward to seeing what is ahead for this next group of incoming freshmen! Congratulations to these 8th grade scholars and to the KHS Class of 2026! We are so excited for all of our WildKats! ❤️💙

And, not to be outdone, our 6th grade scholars kicked off awards day for us. We are super proud of their growth after transitioning to middle school. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for this group.

We also were able to celebrate our 7th grade scholars yesterday at our awards program. We have been so excited to see their growth and are looking forward to them leading our school next year.

We had quite a day at Maple Crest Stem Middle School. From our scholar’s awards, to field day, to saying goodbye to our 8th grade class. A special thank you to one of our parents Ashlee Kent for providing our 8th graders with pizza at the end of the day. Goodbyes were heartfelt, tears were flowing, and we loved celebrating our outgoing 8th grade class and send them ahead to Kokomo High School. So proud of this group of kids who has led a culture shift in our building. We are sad to see you go but are excited about your future. Your legacy at Maple Crest will live on and KHS, you are getting a great group.

📢 ATTENTION ALL KOKOMO AREA FAMILIES: With tomorrow being the last day of school, summer is officially almost here! To help keep our students fueled up over the break, Kokomo School Corporation is happy to announce FREE summer lunches to ALL area children, 18 years of age & under! Through the USDA Summer Nutrition Program for Kids, lunches will be served daily from 11:55 AM to 12:40 PM, Monday through Friday, June 8 – June 26 at Carver Community Center.
