Honoring all of our Vietnam Veterans today including all of those K9's who are credited wih saving over 10,000 lives.
This is Vietnam Veteran Scout Dog Handler John Meeks and a beautiful statue of his Scout Dog Artus K012.
This statue is at the Lansing Veterans Memorial at the Lansing IL airport.
Tucked under the Huey in a specially designed area to mimic the look of the jungle where he served. Artus will now forever be remembered for his dedication, grit and service to his handlers and our nation.
