🏛️🕯️CONGRATULATIONS National Honor Society inductees! Proud families in the audience, memorable moments on stage, and 39 of our KHS students inducted into our National Honor Society-Wildkat Chapter this 26-27 school year!
Our inductees live out the four pillars of the National Honor Society every day through Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character.
Opening the ceremony, Principal Angela Blessing shared how much this tradition means to KHS, noting that celebrating this milestone event right at the start of the year always sets a wonderful tone for the months ahead.
National Honor Society President Oliver Taskey spoke on the depth of character and leadership through service embodied by trustee Mr. Lewis Hall before introducing him for closing remarks.
Mr. Hall then reminded our students that this event isn’t a finish line, but proof of the stamina and commitment these Wildkats have to keep persevering onward through service.
Afterward, KHS staff sponsors Mr. Carpenter and Mrs. Moore served refreshments as families, students, staff, and guests gathered to catch up, snap photos, and celebrate together.
✨📸Check out a few photo highlights below, and congrats to all 39 of our newest Wildkat Chapter members!

🎺Our KHS Marching Wildkats & Guard are SWEET 16 BOUND!🔴🔵 Just over 70 students. Two towering ladders on the track. Five directors guiding every beat, a small army of family volunteers behind the scenes, and six judges with clipboards who hold the night in their hands.
Placing 4th in daytime preliminaries, our Marching Wildkats & Guard knocked it completely out of the park and secured their spot straight into the Sweet 16 at Indiana State Fair Band Day!
Built from buckets of sweat and endless reps, this group of KHS student musicians and guard members delivered today—moving, breathing, and performing as one unified team.
Now, they’re stepping back up to the plate under the lights tonight to take the track at the Indiana State Fairgrounds alongside the top groups in the state!
Let’s go Wildkats! ONWARD KOKOMO!
