Miss Edwards’ 2nd grade class got to experience the butterfly life cycle up close recently! They watched their caterpillar transform into a chrysalis and finally into a butterfly, and even got to watch her hatch right before their eyes!
The class discovered their butterfly was a female monarch, named her Clicky, and then released her into the trees for her next adventure!🦋

First grade has been learning about stories from all around the world. Today, Mra. Cochran's first grade outdoor class learned about Little Red Riding Hood. They took their learning outdoors by making “treats for grandma” in the mud kitchen. Then, they used what they created as props to act out the story!

Our 4th grade did a science experiment that had students design and build an exoskeleton to protect a marshmallow from varying items of different weights. Their challenge was to beat the rival teachers and their designs. Students ended up beating the teachers so they were successful.
