After a great week displaying your projects at the fair, tomorrow, Saturday, July 18th, from 8:00 - 11:00 AM, there will be project pickup and an opportunity to collect all your deserving awards and ribbons. As in past years, we have a drive-thru service. Enter from the south side of the fairgrounds (Payton Street), drive onto the fairgrounds, and go around the south side of the Keystone (block) Building to the east side of the metal building at the overhead door. We will retrieve your projects and your packet of ribbons. You will load your projects into your vehicle and go about your day. Attached is a map for you. Please call the Extension Office with any questions.

Credit Mid-America and 1st are excited to present the Fight the Hunger, Stock the Trailer contest! During the week of the Fair, Howard County 4-H Junior Leaders will be collecting non-perishable items for local food banks. They will be competing against other county fairs. The fairs that donate the most non-perishable items will win up to $5,000. Bring canned food and bottle water to the trailer located near the Junior Leader Food Stand to support Junior Leaders and fight food insecurity in our community!

Youth ages 10-17 are invited to join the Food As Medicine team - Purdue Extension, Howard County Health Department Indiana, Howard County Food Access Alliance, and the Minority Health Alliance Howard County for this program. See more about the program from the Health Department below.
