📣 I’m honored to share some exciting news!
This week, research that I had the privilege of contributing to is being presented at the International Conference on ADHD 2025 in Kansas City.
Our team at Shimmer conducted a localized Delphi study exploring:
✨ the biggest barriers ADHDers face
✨ what actually happens in effective ADHD coaching
✨ and the advanced skills that truly support the whole person, not just the symptoms
What I love most about this research is that it reflects what I care about deeply as a coach
🤗🧠💛✨
coaching that sees identity, creativity, strengths, emotion, meaning, and humanity… not just executive function.
It highlights that:
🔹 ADHD coaching is most powerful when it touches every layer of a person’s life
🔹 Creative methods (metaphor, visuals, storytelling) are not “extras” — they’re essential
🔹 The relationship and shared presence between coach and client matter more than we often name
🔹 And when we support someone’s spirit, identity, and purpose… everything else shifts
I’m grateful for the brilliant team who led this work:
Xenia Angevin, Christal Wang, Alexandra Bellitter, & the entire Shimmer community.
And I’m humbled to have my name on the poster alongside so many gifted coaches.
This is only the beginning of what this research will unlock — and I’m excited to be part of it. 💛🧠✨
