9/16/2021, CDC after school care program has been notified that one individual have tested positive for COVID-19. As per CDC procedures, all students or staff who have been in close contact with a positive case will be notified by contact tracing personnel.

CDC is continuing to work together to maintain the health and safety of our students and staff. In accordance with our CDC COVID response plan, we are currently employing the following steps:

· All students and staff who are considered a close contact will be notified by the local contact tracing team.

· The CDC will undergo deep cleaning and reopen for after school care to all but the impacted individuals, on Tuesday, September 21, 2021.

We continue to encourage all parents to take their children’s temperature and monitor them closely for any sign of potential illness.

Children and staff should remain at home if they have any symptoms of COVID-19 including: fever (defined as temperature over 100.4°F), new or persistent cough, new trouble breathing or shortness of breath, chills, night sweats, sore throat, body aches, muscle aches, joint pain, headache, loss of taste or smell, runny nose, congestion, fatigue, confusion, and/or stomach issues (diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain).

Reminder: Children 2 years old and above and adults MUST wear a mask upon entering the CDC building. We appreciate your cooperation on this matter.
