Portuguese at UTK

Our Portuguese lecturer, Gabriela Luz Parizzi, received the Faculty Senate's Heart and Soul Award at the University of Tennessee on May 5th, 2025. This award acknowledges faculty members who have made excepcional contributions to creating an inclusive, respectful, and empowering environment and for fostering a sense of belonging among peers and the broader university community, enhancing the culture and the climate of the institution. A big thank you to all students - they are the reason behind everything lecturers do!
