One of the main roads to Windsor and Agincourt is closed starting August 7th. Be sure to put in Ijams's address in your GPS of choice when you make your way to see our closing weekend of shows!

From TDOT:

MAJOR CLOSURE ALERT FOR KNOX COUNTY. For the next four weeks, James White Parkway will have one-direction closures for bridge repairs we need to get done before the start of UT football season. See the schedule below.

Southbound: August 7-10 and 14-17
Northbound: August 21-24 and 28-31

Ramp closures will also impact eastbound travel options in Downtown Knoxville. The full closure map is in the comments. Motorists can bypass the work zone by using Alcoa Highway (US 129/SR 115) or Hall of Fame Drive.

A NEW VIEW is back -- this time with Carlin Thomas as our special guest instructor! We just finished recording this playwright workshop with Next Rung's alums, and we had a great time together. Everyone else can see it soon too, so please keep an eye out for the video!

ABOUT CARLIN:
Carlin Thomas penned the ariZoni award-winning play, “Coming Out for Christmas” and has credits across the theatrical process, from directing and designing, to performing and stage managing. They are also passionate about accessibility in theatre, and is a professional provider of live audio description and has provided description for touring Broadway productions, WWE Live shows, Disney on Ice, Virgin Voyages, Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle Live, and more. They can also be seen in the studio audience for Season 2, Episode 1 of Crowd Control on Dropout TV.
