We did a lot with art murals last month using paint, rollers, brushes, stencils, markers, crayons, and even our hands! These kids (and caregivers) got real creative! 🫶🏼🫟🎨

Come and see the space we will be using in our upcoming sessions! Tuesday June 9th, from 10am-1pm, we are hosting a FREE open play session where there will be several sensory bins, and some of our favorite projects and materials from our sessions in recent past. This will be a time to get to know each other, check out the space, play some fun games, connect, and ask any questions you have about what we do and our future plans. Stay as long as you feel comfortable during the designated time! You do not need to register for this, but it would be helpful to know how many will be coming so a quick text to Julie (760-415-5380) with how many children you will be bringing, would be super helpful. Can't wait to see you there!

There are so many great indoor places to take your kids this summer! Have you been to all of these? Which ones are you excited to try? We are obviously huge fans of We Rock the We Rock The Spectrum - Knoxville, as they have been allowing us to use their awesome party rooms for months now! (You should definitely look into booking a party with them this summer!) This is probably the most active you can be on this list other than the trampoline parks (but they also have a trampoline!) while being indoors. Plus, I've always appreciated how often I see a staff member cleaning/disinfecting toys.

Poppets Play Place offers lots of fun events so make sure you follow them for all the updates. You never know what they are going to come up with! I've seen everything from Frozen Princess events to ladies night out. You'll definitely need to stay in the know with this one.

Maryville's Play Station has a large play area with a bounce house, play structure, games and more. As a nanny, we have easily spent hours there at a time.

Smart Toys & Books has a large play structure as well as a pirate ship! Make sure you make a reservation there as spaces fill up quickly. They also offer several classes worth checking out, and it's a great place to buy gifts.

Roane Playzone is new to the area and are already known for listening to their customers feedback. They are so creative and are active on social media, making it really easy to see things like when they are open, special events, and new products like punch cards etc.

Farragut Community Center does Toddler Takeover from 10-11am on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They basically offer a bunch of toys in an open gym. It's great for social interactions, meeting other parents/nannies/caretakers, while kids have to learn naturally how to share and play together. Plus it is only $2.

Playtime Anytime Crossville is a bit further out for most of us but a great stop on your way to Nashville when the kids need a break, or make it a half day trip and hit Buc-ee's and Playtime Anytime. They also offer convenient drop-off care in case that Buc-ee's trip seems more fun alone.... 😉

Backyard Bouncers has just that! They have open play times so make sure you check their website and follow their socials for that schedule. They also offer bouncer rentals, in case you want to bring the party to your own space!

KID ZONE is really kind of a hidden gem, in my opinion. They have a large play structure, lots of tables where you can bring our own lunch, a baby area, and an areas for dramatic play. Playtime is limited to two hours (unless you pay for more) but it works cause there is a great Karm store just down the street that is fun to just go look around in.

No Commentary on the Trampoline parks because I have only actually been to Sky Zone - if anyone wants to fill us in on the details on differences, that might be helpful.

Little Valley Play Cafe - Knoxville is a great place to let the kids run around and get their fill of dramatic play while there is a designated area for babies. You can grab a cup of coffee or chai while you hang with friends or meet new ones! Plus they make a pretty great grilled cheese.

Muse Knoxville has both inside and outside options, making is great for any type of weather. There are several things to do, from STEM projects to crafts and movement. They also have several planetarium shows throughout the day and a dark room in case anyone needs and overstimulation break.

Children's Museum of Oak Ridge has separate themed rooms like space, rainforest, dollhouse and trains. Its a great place to explore and there is a park right next door is you need some outside time. (It's also a great place to swing by after you attend a TRIparenting session, as we will be in Oak Ridge Starting in June. The museum is about five min from Ridge Church, where our sessions will be held. 😉)

Playtime in the Plains has several options for play and creativity. You can also grab coffee and breakfast there AND they have a movie night coming up! Check them out!

The Wild Child Cafe offers 1/2 price drink Fridays! obviously there is plenty to do for the kids and they have a Wednesday play special so that would be a great day to check them out if you never have.

Those are all the ones I could think of off the top of my head, did I miss any? Tell us what your favorites are and which ones you are excited to try this summer!

The only way this stays is if people take their kids. I know, seems obvious right? If you’ve are in Roane county or passing through, make it a point to stop by this new play place.
