Good Afternoon,

We will be holding a class make-up for day two tomorrow, February 2, 2026 in Knoxville for the 2A and 2B sessions because schools in Knox County are closed. Class will begin at 9:30 am and go until 5:00 pm. If you need to drop your student off early we will be open at 7:30 am and if you need to pick them up late we will have someone here until at least 6:00 pm. If you cannot attend tomorrow that is okay, we will be holding another make-up for the January 24, 2026 class in the coming weeks, stay tuned for the new dates for day two and three make-ups.

We will also still be doing most drives in Knoxville tomorrow. If you have a scheduled drive we did leave a voicemail message to see if you wanted to bring your student in earlier in the day since Knox County schools are out but you can absolutely keep your original time if need be.

Hello everyone. In case you haven't seen our website or the email we sent out last night, the make up class for today, February 1, 2026 has been CANCELLED and will need to be rescheduled. We will be sending out an email this week with when the make up for today and yesterday will be happening.

I tried! I promise I’ve tried!! I’ve spent the last 90 minutes shoveling my driveway and I’m not the street ye!!

As many of you might be guessing, there will be no classroom sessions and no behind the wheel lessons happening today!! This is for both the Knoxville and Maryville locations!

Stay tuned for info about the classes scheduled for Sunday, February 1!!

Here is our latest update for this weekend:

In both Knoxville and Alcoa/Maryville, we are going to proceed with classes! The Saturday class time will be 10:00 to 5:30, with a lunch break from 2:00 to 2:30. The Sunday class will be from 12:00 to 7:30, with lunch from 4:00 to 4:30.

At this moment we are going to try and get all the behind the wheel lessons completed as planned!!

Please do an Anti-snow dance and keep your fingers crossed that the road are safe!!

Here we go again! We are watching the weather forecast closely and will wait until late tomorrow to make a decision about cancelling the classes scheduled for this weekend. Please do a “no-snow” dance so we can proceed as planned.

Dateline: January 23, 2026 3:42 pm. We have decided to err on the side of caution and safety and are cancelling the classes scheduled tomorrow at both the Knoxville and Maryville locations. The make-up day for both locations is Sunday, February 1 from 12:00 to 7:30.

I wish we were able to proceed as planned, but with the forecasted weather we can’t take a chance to have students in class and get stranded because the roads become unsafe.

It's January 22, and all is well in the Knoxville weather world! We are waiting until tomorrow to make a decision about closing on Saturday, January 24. Stay in touch here for the latest info on what we'll do regarding the predicted weather.

Get your car ready for this potential storm! Fill your gas tank. Check the air pressure in your tires. Check the tread depth of your tires (if you have less than 4/32" of tread depth, get new tires). Top off your windshield washer fluid. Replace wiper blades if necessary. Check all the fluids. Consider putting an emergency kit together with a blanket, shovel, drinking water, etc.

AND...if you slip on ice on your sidewalk on the way to your car, do NOT try and drive on ice!!

Super happy today! Jodie’s scan gave us another six months of “no evidence of disease”!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️.

It’s official!! We are cancelling classes scheduled for January 11 at both the Knoxville and Maryville locations!!

Repeat, classes for January 11 are cancelled!! We will contact you by Sunday with the make-up date!!

If you have to get out, please be super careful. I got to our school but can’t get home. I’m asking a friend with a Jeep to come get me!!

Well, we’re going to take the road to Safety Land and cancel all behind the wheel lessons scheduled for Friday, January 10!!

Tomorrow morning I will be contacting everyone that has a lesson scheduled to make sure you don’t make a trip for nothing.

We will make a decision tomorrow about BTW lessons and the classes scheduled for Saturday!

If you do get out and drive…slow down and leave lots of space in front. Be smooooooooooth with your hands and feet!!

Well, we give up!! We’ve had a lot of calls and emails from families that have said they cannot get here for the make-up class today, or the regularly scheduled class for tomorrow.

I’ve been out driving since 5:00 am this morning and roads that were pretty good yesterday are WORSE this morning.

We are going to postpone the classes for today and tomorrow! Make-up days will be Tuesday, January 23, Thursday, January 25, Tuesday, January 30 and Thursday, February 1. All of these classes will be from 5:00 pm to 8:45 pm.

In our 16 years, we’ve never had to go through this situation, and hope you understand and work with us. In addition to the missed classes, we are having to reschedule over 100 behind the wheel lessons!!

Let’s hope we can get through these make-up days as planned.
