This week, we joined supporters from all across the state to advocate for the rights of Tennesseans! We saw some familiar faces, made some great new connections, & were able to find joy despite all that is going on in our current legislature. We especially loved getting to connect more with our friends & can’t wait to collaborate more in the future!! 🫣So thankful for the community we are building each & every day 🌎🤸‍♂️🔨🌈🩷

We celebrated Juneteenth today & saw some familiar faces! Special thanks to the MLK Commemorative Commission for hosting such a wonderful event 💛❤️💚

Some of our members joined hundreds of others last night at the June City Council meeting in support of immigrants. Several City Council members spoke in support of immigrants, and we hope that their actions will align with their words. ICE is not only conducting raids in Los Angeles & Nashville - they are here in Knoxville tearing families apart. Great turnout last night at Frog Juice! We came together to take action and write postcards urging our Tennessee representatives to vote NO on HB0793—a bill that would allow public and charter schools to refuse enrollment to undocumented students.

Education is a right, not a privilege. Every child deserves access to learning, regardless of immigration status. Thank you to everyone who joined us in standing for equity and inclusion.
