Every child deserves to start the school year with confidence and it begins with the basics. Through our Shoes for School initiative, we’re helping students step into the new year prepared and empowered.

We successfully completed our Spring Digital Literacy 💻 cohort in partnership with Knoxville Chamber.

Four of our ELL students earned their certificate and received a Chromebook to continue learning and growing.

Our next cohort begins on August 26.

At Center for English & Integration Services, learning English also means gaining confidence to navigate life in a new community.

This week, we accompanied a group of CEIS moms to visit a local Head Start center in Knoxville.

For many families, finding preschool options can feel overwhelming, especially with language barriers. This visit gave them the opportunity to ask questions and better understand how to access these resources for their children.

We are grateful for the work Head Start does in our community. Thank you for welcoming us and guiding this visit with such care.
