We are honored to host Alyssa Coffin as our artist-in-residence this year, after completing a year of residency at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, as well as a number of other residencies. After meeting her at church, we fell in love with her soul and her art. Alyssa is an interdisciplinary artist using sculpture, performance, photography and poetry to explore the connection of our own skin with skins of the earth (stone, water, bark, grass, soil, etc.) We want to share this opportunity with you to support her work and livelihood, and ask you to consider purchasing a piece of it for yourself or as a gift. Dear SHAREhouse supporters, Thank you so much for your interest and support since our opening in the Spring of 2012! In our first year we hosted 12 art, music, educational, and social events. In 2013, it was our pleasure to host 32 events! After much reflection, we have decided to take a break for 2014 and close our doors temporarily. This will give us a chance to focus on some other pressing projects, and regroup with a more sustainable plan when we re-open in the Spring of 2015. Check back for more info early next year! Until then, you have our gratitude for many fond memories of a great start in this "to-be-continued" endeavor!
