Pellissippi State VPT

It was an awesome event tonight at Pellissippi State Community College! A huge thanks to our awesome and crews for their great work in recording video and audio of the excellent groups who came to campus to perform! The program has some truly talented students. Steven Davis, Haymakers and Skyway 61, you all rocked. Already excited for Panther Palooza '25!

Awesome job to the students who covered the benefit concert at the this past weekend! The students ran cameras for the live stream of the show which helped raise relief funds of over $100,000 for the flood victims. Students, thanks to you and our friends at for your hard work and thank you to everyone who came out to show support.

A very happy birthday to the wonderful Margaret Ann Jeffries (left), Dean of Engineering and Media Technologies! Margaret Ann, thank you for being such a great advocate and supporter of the Video Production Technology program and to our students. Minnie Mouse treated her to some gifts from the Media Technologies crew today. Why, Minnie, what long, denim-clad legs you have! Hey, has anybody seen Paul Wise around today? Just wondering...Anyhoo, happy birthday, Margaret Ann!

Appalachia Sessions has arrived to Pellissippi State! Our Campus Broadcast students did an awesome job in the studio today recording interviews of the immensely talented musical guests. Only a few classes into the semester and you guys and gals are recording professional interviews, way to go!

No paper for a shot-list? No problem! Sometimes a director has to think fast on their feet. Just don’t get sweaty palms!
