🏗️ STEM Gets a Little Sticky! 🍬

Coach T’s STEM class put their engineering skills, and their marshmallows, to the test! Using just toothpicks and marshmallows, students were challenged to design and build their own structures.

It may look like fun (and it definitely was!), but activities like this get students thinking about design, stability, problem-solving and teamwork in a hands-on way.

At KCS, sometimes learning means building, experimenting, adjusting…and trying not to eat your construction materials! 😄

Ms. Parham’s sixth-period math class had a couple of very unexpected, and very adorable, visitors! Sometimes the best school days come with a little surprise. 💙

We’re not sure how much math they learned, but these little piggies definitely earned an A+ for classroom participation! 🐽📚

🚩 In-N-Almost-Out! 🍔😂

Our High School Retreat competition gave each grade a chance to show off a little creativity, teamwork, and class personality! Students were challenged to design a flag representing their grade, give it meaning, and then they had to PRESENT their concept to the whole group. 😮
..And the Juniors took the win! 🏆

The Class of 2028 put a hilarious spin on the In-N-Out logo with “IN-N-ALMOST OUT” because, as juniors, they’re getting dangerously close to the finish line! 🎓 Their clever concept and presentation earned them first place, with our Seniors coming in second!

We loved seeing each class work together to create something that represented who they are. Just one more memorable moment from a High School Retreat filled with fellowship, fun competition, plenty of laughs, and opportunities to grow closer as a KCS family. 💙

Way to go, Juniors! Enjoy that victory while you can...hopefully you can hold the win at the your last high school retreat next year!😉
