Yay! Look at what can happen when the community partners with schools. Thanks to Mount Olive Elementary School PTO, Vulcan Materials, Walker’s Truck Contractors, the Hoys, the Childs, the Eids, and Clay Councill and The Yard Force.

Phase 2 will be starting soon thanks to a grant from Casey's Cash for Classrooms!

Mount Olive Elementary courtyard transformed through community partnership A local landscaping company transformed an unused school courtyard into an outdoor classroom, sparking community support and a $25,000 grant for future development.

Congratulations to the students and staff of Mount Olive for earning the Rewards School status for the third year in a row!!! We could not be more proud of the effort of our teachers and the hard work of our students!

Thank you to Mrs. Kristi Kristy and Mr. Adam Fritts for being our Principals for the Day! We enjoyed sharing our sweet, high performing school with them today.

Our blessings box located in the lower parking lot is empty at this time. Please consider adding food to the box, especially over the next few weeks. We are grateful for our community support.

Our second annual duck race was a success!!! We sold over 500 coupon books! That amounted to a lot of ducks racing today! Thanks to all of the families that had a chance to sell one this year.

The beach party was fun for all! Thanks to our PTO and staff volunteers who helped! The kids enjoyed the tattoo parlor, beach ball volleyball, popcorn and lemonade, and a dance party!

Wow!!! Another community partner showed up for our students and staff in a big way this week! Vulcan Materials donated six brand new traffic cones for our pick-up line. The cones are heavy-duty and look so bright and new! They also fed our staff a delicious breakfast during our training day this week with enough coffee to fuel the whole staff. We are very thankful to their amazing team.

We would like to thank Mount Olive Baptist Church for providing a delicious breakfast for our staff this week. They also provided new school supplies for our students in conjunction with the Mayor"s back to school program. We are truly thankful to our neighbors!

Our first through fifth graders can come by and meet their teachers at the Meet and Greet. Kindergarten families can stop by and see both classrooms but they will not be assigned a teacher until their second staggered day.

We are so excited for our Community Thanksgiving Dinner! On Sunday, November 21 from 4:00-6:30pm, we will have drive-thru, free meals. All are welcome, we can't wait to serve our community!
