If you want to know one of the many reasons Belle Morris is so special, look no further than our incredible Community School Coordinator, Rachel! 💙
From organizing community events like our Block Party 🎉 to securing grants that give our students amazing experiences like Tremont 🌲, Rachel is constantly finding ways to make our school and community stronger.
She connects students and families with resources, brings incredible community partners through our doors, creates opportunities for our students, and somehow seems to be behind so much of what makes Belle Morris feel like a true community.
Her work may not always be visible, but its impact is felt every single day. We are incredibly lucky to have someone who works so hard to make sure our students and families have the support, experiences, and connections they deserve.

Our Amachi Club started today! They will focus on spending time together doing activities (Art, Math, STEM, Sports, & Life Skills), playing games, building friendships, and learning leadership skills!

We’d love a few more kids to join next week!

Girl Scouts visited our school today during lunches! They will do a parent interest meeting this Thursday, Sept. 17th, at 6pm in the cafeteria. Please go to the front door entrance!

Girls on the Run of Greater Knoxville started a club at The Belle yesterday afternoon thanks to our 5th grade teachers, Ms Jacobs and Ms Clevinger, being willing to coach!

We are excited about empowering our girls to lead and work as a team to meet goals while learning to view themselves with confidence.

They will meet again next Monday! If your 3rd-5th grade girls are interested, they can still register online this week!

Book Fair at Belle Morris happens twice a year and this year our dates are as follows:

Fall Book Fair 10/12-10/16

Spring Book Fair 2/1-2/5

What would make our Book Fair even more special is if every student was able to leave it with something!

At Belle Morris we believe strongly in the power of community, so we are asking our community to help us in sharing the "Share the Fair" link on our Book Fair website.

It can be shared across socials, through direct emails or text messages, etc. Please help us reach our goal of making the book fair accessible for all students!

Girls On the Run begins tomorrow, September 14th!

Girls must complete registration today!

They need to bring tennis shoes and a water bottle. The school will provide a snack. They will go directly to the cafeteria at dismissal. Parents will need to pick up students at 4:15 at the car rider line.

Our 5th Grade Team is giving up their weekend to attend Tremont Teacher Escape Weekend!
This provides them with professional development as well as prepares them to take our 5th graders to Tremont in May!
