TSD page Guidelines and Information:

The purpose of Tennessee Schools for the Deaf (TSD) page is to promote TSD and serve as a resource for information about the schools and sponsored outreach opportunities for parents, students, educators, and TSD alumni. Keeping in line with Facebook’s intended purpose for Pages, we ask that you follow guidelines for connecting with us:

- Spread the word: feel free to share our posts or tag others who you would like to see the post. Comments should be respectful, informative, and accurate.
- Be respectful and polite: Posts and comments containing or linking to content that includes personal attacks (against the school or staff), inflammatory remarks, inappropriate language, or offensive or obscene content, or containing links to any such content, will be removed, as will repetitive postings or spam.
- Be accurate: To ensure our page visitors are getting the best information available, we will attempt to correct any posts or comments that contain misleading or inaccurate information. If inaccurate information continues to be posted, we reserve the right to remove it.
- Don’t solicit: Soliciting or advertising for commercial products or organizations, as well as spamming or excessive posting for personal gain are not allowed.

TSD reserves the right to remove comments or ban anyone who violates these guidelines. Students explored the importance of human nutrition and learned how food fuels our bodies for movement and energy. Through hands-on experience in TSDK’s culinary lab, students practiced proper kitchen hygiene, followed recipes, and cooked a variety of foods, gaining valuable knowledge about the foods we eat every day.

As we enjoy summer, we proudly reflect on the close of the school year at WTSD as, we celebrated our 5th-grade graduates and their many accomplishments. Congratulations to Elizabella Beavers, Brooklyn Bonds, Ivy Frizzell, Ryder Jordan, Jamarion Simmons, Kaylee Toliver, and Francisco Rodriguez as they prepare for their next chapter in middle school.

A special congratulations to Brooklyn Bonds, recipient of this year's Eagle Award, which recognizes outstanding character, leadership, responsibility, and respect. We are proud of all our graduates and wish them continued success in the years ahead!

In summer camp, students visited WonderWorks!

They explored topics including earthquakes, hurricanes, speed/velocity, space, and gravity. This hands-on experience was incredibly enjoyable and educational for all involved.
