Pellissippi State Community College Service-Learning

Students who participate in Service-Learning while at Pellissippi State can have their volunteer hours printed on their official transcripts. Employers often look for graduates who demonstrate service. Students who serve at least 60 hours during their career at Pellissippi State can request a Service Medallion of Distinction to wear at Commencement.

If you aren’t taking a class with an embedded Service-Learning component, you can sign up for volunteer opportunities with dozens of community partners.

To record and verify your service hours, register as a member of the ServiceCorp before you volunteer, then report your volunteer hours, and later request your Service Medallion of Distinction — all in myPellissippi.

Remember, if you a Tennessee Promise student, you must report your hours separately to tnAchieves.
