Just letting you know that if you’ve been away from playing your dulcimer but would like to get back into it, the Novice course is an excellent way to do that.

A new Novice course will be starting on September 15th at Hardin Valley campus. You can register anytime through Business & Community Services at Pellissippi. https://registration.xenegrade.com/pellissippi/courseDisplay.cfm?schID=50200

Join instructor Rudy Ryan for this novice Appalachian Dulcimer class. Continue to build your foundation of chords and melodies by learning more advanced techniques, tones, tunings, timing and playing with capos.

Pellissippi State College Dulcimer courses beginning in mid September are Novice at Hardin Valley and Novice 2 at Blount County.

Here I am playing at the Museum of Appalachia this morning. It’s always a good day when I can play out there.

A part of our regular Monday group will play on the porch at the MOA’s Hall of Fame on Saturday, August 27 since that is the international day of Playing on the Porch.
