We are thrilled to announce that we are moving! As of June 1, the microbiology department will begin its move to the brand new, state-of-the-art, Ken and Blaire Mossman building. The office and many of the labs will be relocated from Walters Life Science to Mossman. Check back in to see weekly updates on the move with photos and more details about the new facility!

This weekend, the University of Tennessee College of Arts & Sciences held commencement ceremonies and we are so proud of the 57 undergraduate students who graduated with a microbiology concentration! 18 of these students graduated with distinction and were honored at the departmental awards ceremony last week. We are very proud of all the microbiology graduates and wish them the best in their future endeavors!
