We had a great time celebrating Dr. Robert M. Craft at his recent retirement party. As a transformational dean, Dr. Craft helped lead UTHSC College of Medicine, Knoxville through a period of remarkable growth, including expansion of residency and fellowship programs and the historic transition from the Graduate School of Medicine to the College of Medicine, Knoxville. Jennifer Ferris, MHS, CCRC, is helping shape the future of research at UTHSC College of Medicine, Knoxville.
As Director of Research and Director of the Office of Research Support, she has built the infrastructure that supports investigators from idea to ex*****on. This year, she became the first Knoxville campus recipient of the university-wide Alston Exempt Staff Award, recognizing her leadership and lasting impact on clinical research.
