What started as rehearsals full of heart, hustle, late nights, laughter, notes, costume parades, weekend tech days and dance rehearsals, band rehearsals, dress rehearsals, and a whole lot of pink… became something truly special.

Bearden Theatre’s LEGALLY BLONDE has been recognized with 12 Marquee Awards honors, including 6 students already recognized for their work and 8 additional nominations for the show.

This celebration belongs to all our actors, technicians, designers, choreographers, student leaders, parent volunteers, directors, and supporters who helped bring this production to life.

Bearden Theatre and Choir are so proud to celebrate these students on Fine Arts Signing Day as they take the next step in their artistic journeys!
Next year, these seniors will be studying performance, filmmaking, music education, graphic design, and directing at the college level. We cannot wait to see the stories they tell, the art they create, and the impact they make.
They have each helped shape our arts programs in meaningful ways — onstage, backstage, behind the camera, in rehearsal and through the music and visuals that brought our productions to life.

Caroline became a member of Bearden Theatre her sophomore year, and has been part of many productions on stage and off. Her favorite roles include Jim in Treasure Island, Egle in La Dispute, Ophelia in Hamlet, and most recently, Jane in Jane Eyre. She was a member of fall and spring semester props crew her junior and sophomore years. Caroline is forever thankful for the growth and opportunities that Bearden Theatre gave her, and will hold them dearly in her heart as she takes the next steps of her journey at the University of Cincinnati Conservatory of Music where she will be pursuing a BFA in Acting!! She is infinitely thankful for the love and support that was shown to her through his incredible program.

Natalie Newman is a senior at Bearden and has been apart of Bearden Theatre since her sophomore year. She has been in multiple productions at Bearden such as The Music Man as Ensemble, Mary Poppins as Mary Poppins, Shadow Play as Victoria Gayforth, Legally Blonde as Serena, and Jane Eyre as Mrs. Fairfax. She is so grateful for the endless opportunities this program provided her and for the relationships that have blossomed through the years. Next year, Natalie will be majoring in Nursing and minoring in Voice at The University of Tennessee.
