We are starting a new robotics program! Mr. Ray Cardwell will be our robotics instructor, and he will start meeting with interested students after school (at your high school) once a week. We will also offer a robotics session at our Saturday and summer sessions. Seniors and their parents will have a FAFSA WORKSHOP, followed by computer time to complete the FAFSA. Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will have morning workshops as is usually the case. Seniors may join us for the after-lunch activity.

We’re excited to see y’all Saturday! Don’t forget to dress comfortably for the afternoon. :)

And another Central student has joined AEUB! One more brought in the program tonight. She and her father just left and are too excited! Congrats!

One of the most rewarding activities has to be the intake of a new participant in Upward Bound. The parents are so grateful for the services offered and the opportunity to have someone who cares help their child achieve their goal of attaining a college degree! The other meeting that brings home the thankfulness of the parents and participants is the orientation for the summer program. The participants are excited for the opportunity and I think the parents are almost as excited as the kids are!

So today ended on a high note as I met with MacKenzie Ball and her mother and we are all set to go!
