PTCA of TSD

PTCA of TSD The purpose of PTCA is to promote the educational welfare of Tennessee Schools for the Deaf students.

One primary goal of PTCA is that every student has what they need to succeed. PTCA steps in to provide necessary items to students if it cannot be provided through the state or their families. PTCA also aids the athletic and recreation departments for after school activities such as; football, volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, and track. PTCA provides educational opportunities through activities such as the eighth grade field trip to DC and work-based learning for high school students to earn money and real work experience before graduation. Another way PTCA assists education is through providing funds for items in the student store that can be purchased using school-wide positive behavior support tickets.
