Our very own Dr. Jennifer Kobrin recently shared her expertise with the World Education Organization around building digital and data literacies in adult education, "Teaching AI as Data Literacy."
In this talk, Dr. Kobrin explores findings from two research-practice partnerships with community adult education organizations. Specific recommendations include making connections between learners’ physical and datafied selves, acknowledging the labor of personal data extraction, and constructing knowledge through lived experience.

The Leadership Studies minor, offered by ELPS, is a 12-credit program designed to prepare students for careers and civic engagement!
Open to all majors, this minor combines leadership theory with hands-on experiences! Students will develop skills and confidence to apply their leadership learning and practice in college, community, and career settings!

The ELPS Department's Online K-12 Leadership Program is a hybrid asynchronous/synchronous distance education program that prepares candidates for a Tennessee Instructional Leader License!

The ELPS Department offers an online masters of science in Educational Administration (EDAM) with a concentration in Higher Education Administration (HEAM).
The degree offers advanced graduate study for individuals who aspire to work in higher education settings including post-secondary institutions, policy and research centers, and government agencies!
