In honor of the JOY that is felt by being a member of the outstanding faculty and staff at WHBP&K, a little European Cafe Celebration Luncheon was enjoyed by everyone before giving hugs and happy wishes of a lovely summer break to one another.

West Hills Baptist’s 5 Day Fives and Kindergarten classes had a fantastic field trip to MUSE Knoxville! Our students experienced an enriching morning filled with STEAM based hands-on activities. Summer vacation is just around the corner, but the fun of learning continues!

Our future Kindergarten Class of 2027 met with Mrs. Krista today for their first Leadership lesson. During their time together, the kids became SCIENTISTS as they observed different slides of very interesting cells. How are microscopes related to leadership, you ask?

A microscope is dependent on the light within or a reflection of light to show the beautiful images. Just like a microscope, the Kindergarten Class of 2027 discussed the importance of showing their inner light to reflect their beautiful personalities to their new classmates and the school.

As the future leaders of West Hills Baptist Preschool and Kindergarten, the students and staff will look up to our rising Kindergarteners in sharing their inner light with others!

West Hills Baptist Preschool and Kindergarten had an incredible evening at our annual Spring Musical, Noah’s Ark! Our Kindergarten and 5 Day Fives students took to the stage with confidence, joy, and enthusiasm, bringing the story to life in such a meaningful and memorable way. They were beautifully supported by the cheerful voices of our 2s, 3s, and 4s classes, whose singing added an extra layer of sweetness and celebration to the performance. Hearing 150 young voices singing together was a cherished gift to our community.

This special night was truly a reflection of the hard work, dedication, and creativity of both our students and teachers. From learning songs and practicing lines, so much love and effort went into making this production a raving success. We are so proud of each child for their bravery and excitement in sharing their joy with the packed audience in the beautiful sanctuary of West Hills Baptist Church.

The celebration continued with a wonderful after-party filled with treats, laughter, and time spent together as a community on our playground area. It was a joyful evening from beginning to end, and one we will cherish for a long time!

Officer Todd had some very special helpers on his security team last week! Two of our preschool friends - Officer Graham and Officer Keith - stepped into the important role of “Security Officers” after their parents won this fun experience at The Orchard as an auction item—and they took their jobs very seriously!

From greeting friends to providing an all-clear for our fire alarm to making sure everything was just right for our school community, these young boys brought big smiles, confidence, and a whole lot of enthusiasm to their duties. They reminded us that even the smallest leaders can make a big impact!
