Education Day was a success!! Thank you Desert Oasis for coming out and learning about what we do.

For this weeks spotlight we are highlighting Andy Chin. He has been a member of our team since spring of 2021.

After EcoCAR, Andy plans on pursuing research experience and getting a masters degree. He is interested in the field of Embedded Systems loT devices.

For this weeks spotlight we are highlighting Meghan Brandt.

Meghan plans to pursue undergraduate research in computer science to prepare for a graduate degree in computer science. She is open to opportunities in computer science, and is looking to build experience in multiple industries.

This past Friday a new EcoCAR Podcast episode was released. If you haven’t had a chance to hear our Project Manager J.P. Nelms and DOE’s Mark Smith discuss the evolution of AVTCs….this is your reminder!!

For this weeks spotlight we are highlighting Matt Magee for all the hard work he has been doing!

Matt is graduating in May and is looking for full time employment. He would like to stay in the automotive industry, but Matt is open to any role he can utilize his experience and find opportunities for growth.

The team had a blast in bristol this morning! It was a little cold out, but the final tests leading up to competition are running smoothly!!

This weeks spotlight is all about Grayson Purdy! Grayson has always had a love for cars and has been a perfect fit on our team!

He is interested in getting an internship in hopefully manufacturing or something similar to the work he’s doing on our EcoCAR team.

JP had the opportunity this past week to present on the EcoCAR mobility challenge to undergraduate honors students. He discussed the history of the mobility challenge at the university and the current team and goals heading into competition.

JP has been doing it all this week…stay tuned for the podcast episode we recorded with DOE…

For this weeks spotlight we are introducing…me! I work with the Communications team creating these post and gather videos and photos for us to use.
It’s been a pleasure running these accounts and I’ve learned so much. I’m currently a freshman studying Economics and I’m looking forward to what the future holds!
