The Torchbearer is the highest student honor a graduating senior can receive at UT, and three College of Arts & Sciences students were recently presented with this honor!

Today, we want to spotlight economics and mathematics student Jack Duncan. Thanks to being in our college, he pursued a double major while also exploring unique and challenging courses outside of his majors. He encourages incoming freshmen to be bold and try classes that might seem daunting or outside their major. You never know what you might find!

Post-graduation, Duncan will work as a research assistant in Washington D.C. at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors.
