🥁 Band Day at Carson-Newman! 🎷

Six of our Pride of the Den Marching Band members had the opportunity to participate in Carson-Newman’s Band Day!

They spent the day practicing alongside the Marching Eagles, performing at halftime, and playing in the stands during the football game.

What a great turnout for the inaugural meeting with 57 people in attendance and 13 households represented! 👏

All Pro Dads is a ministry that gives fathers and their children the opportunity to grow spiritually together through Bible study, meaningful conversations, and fun activities. 🙏

📅 When: First Friday of every month

🕖 Time: 7:00–7:45 AM

📍 Where: Fellowship Hall

⭐ Who: 5th - 8th grade students & Dads

We were thrilled to welcome Amanda Fernandez as a guest speaker for Eternal Athletes, fueled by FCA! 👏

Amanda joined the Tennessee Athletics staff in July 2021 as the Associate Director of Sports Nutrition. She oversees the nutritional needs of the men’s basketball, men’s and women’s tennis, track and field, and cross-country teams. 🏀 🎾

Our student-athletes enjoyed hearing Amanda share her knowledge and had the opportunity to ask questions about how to better optimize nutrition to improve performance on the field, track, and court! 🏃‍♀️

As a ministry of First Baptist Concord since 1996, CCS is distinguished by a Christ-centered culture and an unwavering commitment to advancing Kingdom Education.

Excellence in Education Starts with Exceptional Educators! 🙌

At CCS, we are proud of the amazing academic opportunities available to our students, and the highly qualified educators who make them possible.

Our 9th - 12th staff includes:

🎓 3 educators with Doctorate degrees

🎓 19 educators with Master’s degrees

🎓 3 staff members currently completing their Master’s degrees

🎓 1 staff member currently completing a Doctorate degree

This year, CCS offers:

⭐ 2 AP classes

⭐ 15 Dual Enrollment classes taught by our own teachers

⭐ 1 Dual Enrollment class taught on our campus by an instructor from Carson-Newman University

That means we offer an incredible 59 college credit hours of coursework right here on our campus, taught by our teachers! 🙌

Our students are projected to earn more than 750 college credit hours, not including the additional AP courses or DE classes students may opt to take online! 📚

This year, 60% of our Senior class is taking one or more DE classes. 🎓

CCS is committed to academic excellence and providing our students with meaningful opportunities to challenge and prepare them for what’s next. 🚀
