Reminders for dismissal:

Dismissal may navigate differently from arrival depending on what students you have at KES.

-KES Preschool DOES dismiss before us every day. For dismissal, you may use BOTH lanes once you turn left to go behind the preschool.

-Kindergarten students, their siblings, and 1st grade students with NO older siblings will dismiss using the WEST (yellow) line.

-All other students will dismiss using the GYM line (red line).

We are so excited to welcome our wonderful students back to KES for the 2026–2027 school year! As we get ready for the first week of school, please take a few moments to review our car line procedures and familiarize yourself with the route before arriving.

🚗 Arrival
Stay to the Right on Beaver Ridge Road: Beaver Ridge Road is a two-lane residential street. Please stay in the right lane while traveling through the car line. We appreciate the families who live along this road and want to make sure they can easily enter and exit their homes.

Karns Preschool: We share our car line with Karns Preschool. Please remain in the left lane until you pass the back of the Preschool. We also ask that you be courteous to Preschool families by allowing them to merge into traffic so they can leave school grounds. This helps keep traffic moving for everyone!

Pull Forward: When dropping off your child, please pull forward to the available Safety Patrol or staff member. Pulling forward allows more vehicles to enter the drop-off area and helps prevent traffic from backing up onto the main road.

Stay in Your Vehicle: For everyone's safety, please remain in your vehicle during drop-off. If your child needs help getting in or out of the car, please pull into a parking spot before assisting them.

🏫 Dismissal

Display Your Car Tag: Please make sure your 2026–2027 PINK car tag is clearly displayed when you arrive for dismissal. Students may only be released to vehicles with the proper car tag displayed. If you do not have your car tag, you will need to come to the office with your ID to check your child out.

Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and kindness as we get our arrival and dismissal routines running smoothly at the beginning of the school year. We know the first few days can take a little extra time, and we appreciate everyone working together to keep our students and families safe!
