Help Support the Whittle Springs Middle School Band!
The Whittle Springs Middle School Band is growing, and we are looking for gently used instruments to help put an instrument in the hands of more students!
We are currently accepting donations of:
Flutes
Clarinets
Trumpets
Trombones
If you have an instrument at home that is no longer being used, we would love to give it a new life in the hands of a young musician!
Instruments do not have to be in perfect condition—we are happy to take a look at them.
If you have an instrument you would like to donate, please send Mrs. Brown an email.

We will see all of our Warriors tomorrow for our back-to-school event: Warrior Bash! Doors open at 5:00. Hot dog dinners will be provided for the first 350 participants. Get your child’s schedule, meet the teachers, sign up for clubs, and more!! We're so excited to welcome our new 6th grade students to Whittle Springs. Orientation Day is Friday, August 7th from 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Buses will run their regular routes. Hope to see you there!

Tennessee's 2026 tax-free weekend runs from 12:01 a.m. on Friday, July 31, until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, August 2, 2026. You can buy qualifying clothing, school supplies, and personal computers without paying state or local sales taxes, both in-store and online. This would be a great time to pick up the items on your child's school supply list.

Qualifying Items & Price Limits:

Clothing: General apparel priced at $100 or less per item (e.g., shirts, pants, and shoes).

School & Art Supplies: Items priced at $100 or less per item (e.g., backpacks, notebooks, and pencils).

Computers & Tablets: Personal computers and laptops priced at $1,500 or less.
