Congratulations to Army Eckles on receiving the Ned McWherter Scholarship. This highly competitive scholarship program encourages academically superior Tennessee high school graduates to attend college in Tennessee. Applicants must have a minimum 3.5 GPA, a minimum 29 ACT composite, take honors, dual enrollment, and AP courses, display leadership, and participate in extracurricular activities. Congratulations, Army!

Congratulations to CCS senior, Army Eckles, on being named a Commended Student in the 2023 National Merit Scholarship Program. Commended Students placed among the top 50,000 students who entered the 2023 competition by taking the 2021 PSAT/NMSQT.

“These students represent a valuable national resource; recognizing their accomplishments, as well as the key role their schools play in their academic development, is vital to the advancement of educational excellence in our nation," commented a spokesperson for the MNSC. Well done, Army!
