First grade ended the final day of field day by expressing heartfelt appreciation to Coach Eichholtz, by highlighting what they cherished most about him and what they will miss! We are truly blessed with the best!

Today is a very exciting day for Mill Creek because we are officially opening our brand-new playground! 🎉

This playground represents so much more than slides, swings, and places to play. It represents three years of hard work, dedication, and a community coming together for our students.

Over the past three years, our families, students, staff, and PTO have worked tirelessly to raise money through coupon book sales, the Otter Run, and Otter Fest to make this dream a reality. Every fundraiser, every volunteer hour, and every donation helped bring us to this moment today.

We want to give a very special thank you to our PTO for believing in this vision and working so hard to support this project. Your dedication to our students and school community is incredible.

We especially want to recognize Kat Patterson and Danica Powell for their leadership as PTO Presidents throughout this process. Thank you for helping lead this vision, organizing countless events, and staying committed to making this playground a reality for our students. Your hard work and passion have made a lasting impact on our school.

Most importantly, this playground is for our students. It is a place where friendships will grow, imaginations will soar, laughter will echo, and memories will be made for years to come.

Thank you again to everyone who supported this project and helped make today possible.

We ended teacher appreciation week with a ramen & boba bar our staff. What a special and fun time this was for all! Love when we can sit down together for a lunch that isn’t rushed and enjoy each others company! 🍜 ❤️
