Hey Community tutoring family, we need you help. We are looking for monthly sponsors for the 2024-2025 school year.
At Community Tutoring, our mission is simple yet profound: to address academic weaknesses and empower students to overcome learning challenges, fostering confidence and a lifelong love for learning. What began out of a clear need I observed in our community has grown into a vibrant program, operating three days a week, providing crucial one-on-one and small-group tutoring sessions. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full academic potential, regardless of their circumstances.
The past year has highlighted the persistent academic challenges many students face. We've seen incredible progress as children who once struggled with foundational concepts begin to grasp complex ideas, improve their grades, and, most importantly, rediscover their self-esteem. Your previous generosity has been instrumental in making these successes possible, enabling us to provide essential resources, maintain our dedicated tutoring space, and offer our services free of charge to families who need them most.
As we look ahead to the 2025-2026 school year, the demand for our services continues to grow. To meet this increasing need and ensure we can continue to provide high-quality, individualized support, we are seeking your vital partnership once again. Your contribution will directly impact our ability to:
• Provide essential learning materials: Textbooks, workbooks, educational software, and supplies tailored to individual student needs.
• Support our dedicated tutors: While our workers are volunteers, we aim to provide resources and to ensure the highest quality instruction.
• Maintain our accessible tutoring space: Ensuring a safe, conducive, and welcoming environment for learning.
• Expand our reach: Potentially allowing us to serve more students or offer additional specialized programs.
Every dollar you contribute directly translates into a brighter academic future for a child in our community. Our goal is to ensure the program is financially secure for the entire 2025-2026 school year, and we are actively seeking monthly sponsors to make this year a success. To ensure uninterrupted service and a stable learning environment, we must address a critical financial challenge: for the majority of the 2024-2025 school year, we have been behind in rent by an entire month, and we are currently still a month behind. Your support is crucial to maintaining our vital learning space. The cost to support one child in our program is $125 per month. A gift of $125 per month could provide consistent, crucial tutoring for one child throughout the school year, while any recurring monthly contribution would provide invaluable stability for our operations, no amount is too small, and every contribution makes a tangible difference.
